usdt trc20 memo issue

Been on crypto casinos a while but this is the first time a deposit wants me to add a memo for USDT trc20. I always thought TRC20 just needed the wallet address, no extras. Kinda bugs me since I’m already triple checking to avoid sending to a random address and now I’ve got this memo field popping up too. Not super clear if it’s really needed or just there for looks.

Anyone have to actually fill out the memo with trc20? Does it actually matter if you leave it blank? Figure I’d ask before sending and maybe losing funds for being lazy or trusting the process too much. Anyone had their transaction delayed or lost because of this memo thing?
