BC.Game deposit memo?

I’ve seen a lot of people forget to add a deposit memo or tag for crypto transfers, then their funds just vanish into the void for a while. If anyone here’s had that happen with BC, what was the actual fix? Did support get your money back or were you out of luck? I always double check the address and memo, but sometimes it feels like it shouldn’t even be this easy to mess up.

Kind of weighing if it's worth the stress of using coins that need memos or if I should just switch up. How long did it take you to resolve missing deposit issues with a forgotten memo, or was it not even possible?
