stake live blackjack timed me out on a double down and support says hand stands

Was playing a live blackjack table tonight, came up on a perfect spot to double down but the game froze for a second. By the time it unfroze, timer ran out and it counted as a stand. Reached out to support and all they said was the hand stands as dealt, no way to redo or refund. Been around casinos a long time, not my first tech glitch but seems harsh when it's their system lag, not player indecision. Anyone else have this with live dealers, and did you ever actually get anything back from support?

Yeah, live dealer support almost never gives anything back, that's been my experience, they just point to the game log and you're done. I quit sizing up doubles if my bankroll's thin around a dealer shift, something always gets REAL tidy on their end after that

Yeah, i’ve had live tables pull that cute “timer expired” thing when the stream hiccups, and support suddenly turns into a wall calendar. Honestly this is why slots annoy me LESS than live blackjack sometimes: rng is ugly but at least it’s CONSISTENT, not a laggy stand dressed up as policy
