live blackjack table closed while i had bonus active and support says pick another game

so my fav live blackjack table just closed right in the middle of a bonus round, i still had like half my bonus wager left. support tells me “just pick a different game” but the whole point was to use the bonus on live blackjack, not spin slots or whatever. no way am i touching anything that’s not live dealer with a bonus, feels like flushing my coin. maybe i’m weird about it but it just doesn’t seem fair to swap mid-way, right?

anyone run into this and get the bonus restored or credited back after a table shuts down? feels like a lesson learned but wondering if there’s a trick here or if i’m outta luck.

No, you’re not weird. That’s the part of Online Casinos I hate most: the bonus is “for live dealer” right up until the moment their side breaks, then suddenly you’re meant to be flexible. Funny how that works. I had this with free bet blackjack once, bonus still ticking, support acting like moving me was some favor. They did not restore a thing. If the round dies because their product dies, burning your rollover on some other game is nonsense. I’m still annoyed about it, frankly.

I'd ask whether there's another live blackjack table that qualifies instead of assuming you have to switch to slots.

"just pick another game" would have made me mad too, i stayed on atlantic city blackjack once and game latency ate me, maybe i was dumb
