payout rounded down

so i played live dealer roulette for a few hours last night and noticed something odd - my winnings were always being rounded down to the nearest whole dollar. like i’d hit on a $3.50 bet and instead of getting $12.25 or whatever, my payout just dropped the cents. not the biggest deal in the world for one spin, but after a bunch of rounds it definitely adds up.

is this a thing everywhere, or just how some places do it? if so, does it affect anyone else’s approach or does everyone just ignore it? i’m not the type to chase every nickel, but i like knowing the rules before i sit down. would you tweak your bets to minimize those weird little losses, or just chalk it up to house edge? just feels off when you notice it every session.

Nah, the leak for me is psychological tbh, once i see cents getting shaved, i’m already annoyed and playing worse. I bail the same way i bail from blackjack when the time bank starts rushing every hand. 40 spins of losing just 25¢ is still ten bucks gone, and that’s enough to bug me!!!

Yeah id tweak the bet size, instantly. In sports betting I already avoid books that make the slip feel mushy with dumb limits and stake increments, same thing here, whole-dollar units or im out lol, must be nice if people can just donate nickels all night and not care
