Back to Live Dealer

stake live blackjack showed my seat active but every bet failed until shoe ended.

sat down at a live blackjack table earlier and it let me pick my seat, showed me as “active” the whole shoe, but every time i tried to place a bet it just errored out. chip selection was fine, timer running, but each confirm would just hang and then reject. soon as the shoe finished, it said “betting closed” and reset me. nothing in my balance changed, but still freaked me out - felt like being ghosted by the dealer or something.

i play mostly poker, so i know the classic “out of sync” issues, but this felt more like a soft-lock or bug on the table itself. is this just a lag/connection thing or could it be something shadier? ever happen to anyone else?

Active seat isn't active betting. That's a live table sync bug, not shady.

Nah, writing it off that fast is kinda lazy lol. I did that once on a live roulette wheel, figured I was just dumb, then found the table had goofy limit/rule crap buried somewhere. Same energy as slots letting you hit spin when it’s basically dead 😅 maybe I’m wrong, but “not shady” is too generous.

yeah, that’s the dumb live casino thing: seat says active, backend says no. usually table limits or max bet desync, not the dealer messing with you.

"active" means nothing on live dealer junk, yeah. Seen it on H17 tables too.

Live blackjack can be weird when the stream and betting system get out of sync. Other platforms specifically say rejected bets aren’t charged when a connection issue happens before the wager is accepted.
