live blackjack table took my seat balance then failed to load the actual hand

sat down at a live blackjack table, dropped my usual buy-in, then it just froze at "waiting for bet confirmation." i could see the other players getting dealt in, but my balance got deducted and no cards or anything showed up for me. tried reloading but then it said the round was already in progress and i was basically locked out till next hand. my seat was still "in" but no action, no cards, nada. when the round finished, balance showed up like nothing happened.

anyone else ever have this? my main concern is whether i'm actually missing out on playable hands and possible EV over the grind, or if it doesn't really matter long term. kinda bugs me from a math standpoint. is this just a server lag thing or do i need to worry about future buy-ins not registering?

No, and this is why I get bored with online casino “live” stuff fast!!! Half the time it’s not even a gambling question, it’s an accounting/UI question. If your balance snaps back after settlement, I wouldn’t romanticize the missing hand like it was some stolen EV masterpiece, blackjack already has a House Edge and one phantom round isn’t the dramatic part. The part I’d care about is if it clusters around dealer shift or busy tables, that’s when these setups get weird in my experience. Cheap backend, basically.

Not a push, that's the wrong bucket. Push means a hand existed and tied, this sounds more like a no-bet ghost seat, live roulette does the same crap with bet rejections 😐

Yeah nah, I wouldn’t jump straight to “lost EV” here lol, that’s just live dealer jank. I’ve had the balance dip, hand never render, then it all pops back after the round on laggy tables like nothing happened, annoying as hell, not magic.
