same slot paid less on mobile than desktop unless im reading paytable wrong

so i usually spin this one slot on my laptop, know the symbols and payouts by heart now. last night tried the same game on my phone since i was too comfy to get up. hit what should have been a pretty solid line, but the payout was way lower than what i normally see. i checked the paytable right there, looked the same, but maybe i missed something in the fine print or mobile version?

do casinos really adjust payouts by device or is this more likely just my memory playing tricks on me? or does variance just mess with payouts to look off when they're not? curious if anyone else has spotted this kind of thing switching between devices.

Mobile usually hides coin size/bet config better lol, was the line hit at the exact same denom?

Mobile loves hiding coin value, that’s the whole trick. Had one slot flip from 0.20 to 0.10 denom on me. Same energy as bad Blackjack side bets, dull stuff!!!

Yeah this is usually the mobile UI being sneaky, not some secret device RTP thing lol. Same slot theme, same RNG, but on crypto casinos the phone version loves hiding coin size/denom so you think you hit the same line and nah, you were betting different the whole time lmao

its almost always the stupid coin size or lines buried in some tiny mobile panel. same symbols same paytable means nothing if ur bet slipped from 1.00 on 20 paylines to 0.40 effective and u didnt clock it. i had one game on mobile tuck the denom under a little i button like it was state secrets. not variance. just bad UI and ppl half asleep in bed doing math wrong, which is MOST of us

Mobile buries denom. Crypto joints worse.

That "too comfy to get up" part, yesss. I've chased more bad spins from the couch than i care to price out!
