online casino says my win is void because geolocation dropped during last spin

Had a weird one today. Was playing a slot online, and right on the last spin, got what looked like a decent win. The site booted me off and later support said the win was void because they “couldn’t verify my location” during that spin. My VPN wasn’t on and I was sitting at the same kitchen table like usual. My connection did wobble for a second but I don’t think it was more than a blip. They keep telling me they can’t process the win unless I stayed “within jurisdiction” the whole time.

It honestly feels like a cop out since they took my losing bets without any problem. Their geolocation isn’t even that accurate. I get the legality thing, but if the connection drops for a second, shouldn’t they just review it case by case? Curious if anyone else had a similar call from support or even got paid out after a geolocation mess? What’s the usual policy for this stuff?
