rake race worth it?

So I've been eyeing this new rake race promotion and can't decide if grinding it is actually +EV or just a distraction. The prize pool looks juicy at first glance, but when you factor in the real stakes - the amount of volume and hours you need to put in - I'm not sure if it's worth diverting from my usual focus on better EV spots like mid-stakes blackjack or even crypto promos. Been burned before by underestimating how much some regs go all-in on these things and how the rewards get diluted at the top.

I'm also considering the opportunity cost. If I push for leaderboard volume, it's basically a full-time commitment for the duration, which could mean less energy for other +EV live dealer games or crypto moves. For people who've chased these things hard, does the end result usually feel worth the effort or more like running on a hamster wheel for rakeback that could have just been grinded out over a longer timeline anyway? Curious what other folks with similar approach to risk/reward think before I even bother rearranging my sleep schedule for this.

Nah, usually feels like a hamster wheel, that's the obvious answer. Rake races and a lot of crypto casino promos are the same trick with different paint, you start chasing volume instead of value, then some sleep-deprived reg nukes the leaderboard and you're basically working for thinner rakeback than just playing normal
