888poker asked for bank statement after i withdrew less than i deposited overall

Made a withdrawal the other day and got hit with a bank statement request, even though my total deposits are still higher than what I’ve cashed out so far. I get that these checks are getting more common, but it threw me off because the numbers don’t look suspicious to me. Feels weird since I’m not even cashing out more than I put in, so there shouldn’t be any questions about where the money’s coming from.

Is this just standard policy everywhere now or do some places only do these extra checks if the net withdrawal’s over the deposit? Have folks run into the same thing, and does it usually slow down the payout much? Curious if it’s better to just have these docs ready from now on, or if that’s overkill.
