rebuy addon question

so i’m just starting to dip my toe into live tourneys with rebuy and addon options. i know the basics but i still get confused about when it’s actually worth going for an addon, especially if i’ve got a slightly below average stack but not completely desperate. i’m mostly a sports bettor, so the idea of adding more after a losing streak feels weird. i’m just trying to get a feel for when other folks think it’s +ev or if it’s sometimes better to just take the stack you’ve got and play it out.

Nah, crypto casinos get you way worse lol. Addon is usually just flat betting your tourney life when blinds are dumb, not some moral failure 😏

Nah, the ONLY part that matters to me is deciding before cards are in the air. On crypto casinos that wallet top-up is way too frictionless lmao, and if I leave it till the break I’ll talk myself into dumb stuff just because the beeps in my head say “go on then” lol

I leave my debit card in the truck for a reason. Once break hits my brain treats the addon like one more slot spin to get unstuck, and that’s how a $120 donkament became a dumb $300 leak sooo fast no joke

If the addon gives more chips than the rebuy rate, I just take it. 10k for one buy-in at break beats pretending 18bb is "fine" lol
