Satellite rebuy count?

So I signed up for a satellite with a single rebuy, thinking that was my shot if things went sideways. But then a buddy said some satellites let you rebuy more than once - sometimes like, as many as you want till a certain level closes? Kinda defeats the point of “one last chance” for me but maybe I’m just not getting it. Are these rules different depending on online vs live, or is it totally up to the house?

Also, how do you all handle your rebuy strategy in these? I usually go with vibes over hard math and try not to chase, but sometimes it’s just too tempting. Curious what your approach is?

What gets missed, live and Live Dealer aren't the same thing. In a real live satellite the floor may cut rebuys the second the clock flips, online just hard-locks it. “Single rebuy” is one, if not it’s another format.

Nah, the part people keep skipping is promos. Not “online vs live” like it’s some deep mystery lol, it’s whatever that specific tournament sheet says, and rooms LOVE dressing satellites up with bonus chips/seat overlays to make the structure feel softer than it is. I’ve seen dudes punt just because a promo made the lobby look juicy. Read the flyer, not your buddy. BASIC stuff lmao 😅

It makes sense that people might prefer having different entertainment categories together, especially when the platform keeps navigation simple and makes each section easy to understand.
