why are high stakes poker games all drunk rich guys or bots

Seen this too, especially lately. Every time I click into a nosebleed cash game, it’s either some mega-rich dude splashing around calling with anything, or the action feels robotic as hell with ten-second tanking every hand. I get the appeal for whales, but it kind of sucks the fun out when it’s not about the cards but just who can afford to keep reloading or who wrote the best code.

Tried a few crypto tables too, hoping it’d be more legit, but there’s always at least one person playing wild, like they’re just burning off yesterday’s NFT profits. Guess the days of regular folks taking a legit shot at big games are mostly gone. Anybody actually find a high stakes table where it feels normal?

High stakes tables just don’t feel approachable since bankroll swings can wipe out months of careful play in a few unlucky hands. I keep circling back to smaller roulette rooms where variance stings less and you can actually focus on strategy, not survival.

Normal is rare now, especially online where crypto tables just crank up the circus vibes. My last “real” high stakes felt like a stat bot was playing six seats and some dude was narrating his Tesla deliveries.
