Back to Roulette

why do some roulette tables have the absolute worst lighting.

It seriously messes with the vibe when you sit down to play roulette and you can barely see the wheel or the numbers because the lighting is so dim or weirdly colored. I don't get why some casinos cheap out or don't bother fixing this. Maybe they're trying for some kind of "mood lighting," but if I can't see the chips clearly, that's a problem. Sometimes it feels like they designed the space more for looks than actual playing.

I like to keep things methodical, so if I can't tell whether that's a 17 or a 20 across the wheel, it's honestly tilting. Anyone else notice this or have theories on why they set up tables like that? Is there some reason I’m missing, or do the staff just not care?

Nah, online casinos do it too lol. NetBet live roulette gets laggy as hell under that dim crap.

Lol yeah I notice it, and noooo it’s not some deep casino science, it’s cheap design brain + “vibe” people winning the argument over the actual table. If I gotta squint at a roulette layout, the setup already sucks, full stop. Same dumb energy as those live dealer rooms with weird shadows, stream hiccups, delayed results, dealer reaches across the camera and now everybody’s acting like they saw the spin clean lmao. And Lightning Roulette is the worst for this glossy neon nightclub look, looks cool for 4 seconds then you’re staring at reflections and guessing chips. Staff usually don’t care til enough people moan, and management definitely doesn’t til the wheel still fills seats. Calm fix too, just put normal white light on the damn felt and wheel, yesss amazing invention lol
