online roulette wheel lagged right before spin ended and my bet didnt show

Had a strange thing happen last night with the online roulette table. Placed a bet, watched the wheel go, and suddenly it lagged hard just as the ball was about to land. When the screen caught up, my chips weren’t even on the table but I know for sure I hit confirm and saw the animation before the spin. Naturally, the number hit exactly what I picked, but nothing counted for me. I double-checked my balance and it was the same as before the round.

I know the usual “refresh the browser” advice, but this felt different. Not sure if I should reach out to support or just chalk it up as a one-off glitch. Curious if anyone else gets these weird lag hiccups and if your bets ever actually get refunded when the tech fails you.
