la partage worth it?

so i’ve been playing at a spot that actually offers la partage on even money bets, which is rare where i live. i know house edge drops with that rule, especially vs the usual european or american layouts. but here’s the thing - i run mostly outside bets, nothing fancy, no martingale madness or chasing losses. it always felt like that half-back option didn’t make a wild difference, but i keep seeing posts online where folks say it’s “must-have” if you’re serious about keeping losses low.

i get how over a ton of spins, every saved half unit adds up. still, the main grind is trying not to let it get dull. like, is the edge you get with la partage genuinely worth hunting down, or is it just a math-head’s flex for folks playing thousands of hours? does anyone here have real stories about how much of an edge it actually gives you long term? curious if it changes your actual table choices or if most people don’t even notice the benefit in a real run. how important is la partage for you personally when you’re picking a table?
