bet365 auto roulette replay shows my chips placed but history says stake refunded.

So last night I was playing auto roulette online, had a few chips down, the round runs normal, wheel spins and everything, and it says in the game replay my bets are there on the table. But then when I go to the history after, it says stake refunded and not paid out as win or lose. I know sometimes the live tables have connection hiccups or something, but I actually watched the spin and saw the outcome, it wasn't one of those rounds where it disconnects. The replay shows my actual bets placed, so it's like the game accepted them and ran the spin.

This has happened a couple times before, not always with big amounts, but it makes me second guess if I should just stick to slots or blackjack for bonus clearing. My worry is if it was a big win would they still refund the stake instead of paying out? Anyone here have this happen and know what triggers the refund instead of the payout or loss? Feels sketchy when the replay confirms my bet but history says otherwise.
