what's the longest color streak you've seen?

what are the longest runs of red or black you’ve seen in roulette, live or online? when a color keeps coming up, i’ve heard people at the table say the other one is due, but i don’t really buy it. i try not to change my bet just because a streak is going, and sometimes i’ll sit out if i catch myself wanting to chase it. does anyone else handle it that way, or do you play the same regardless? any tips for staying disciplined when the streak starts getting in your head?
