Wild multiplier stuck?

Spun through a slot with a wild multiplier bonus last night and it seemed like the multiplier just froze after a couple spins. It didn’t add up right and stayed at 3x when I had another wild hit right after. Pretty sure I wasn’t misreading it but now I’m wondering if anyone else had something similar. Not trying to chase glitches or anything, I just get nervous when stuff doesn’t add up especially when real money is involved.

I’m pretty careful about checking T&Cs before I chase these promos but it’s hard to know when something’s a bug versus some weird rule. Curious what you all think.
