feature guarantee bad

So I’ve been checking out more of these “feature guarantee” slots lately where they promise a bonus if you spin enough times. At first it seemed like an easy way to at least see a feature, but the longer I play the more I feel like it’s just draining my balance faster than usual. The base game wins aren’t really keeping me afloat, and the feature I’m grinding toward doesn’t usually pay enough to justify the money spent getting there. The chase just gets stressful.

Feels like the math might actually be worse for the player in the long run since you end up paying extra in anticipation for something that’s often underwhelming. I get the appeal for folks who don’t want to miss out on seeing a bonus at all, but I’d almost rather take my chances with standard slots or just walk away instead of chasing a forced feature.

Anyone else feel these guarantee features are kinda a trap, or am I just running cold?
