bonus tease pain

so what is it with these bonuses lately where you get like two scatters, reels do that slow roll, and then nothing? i swear the last five times i played, i keep getting baited with the bonus symbols stopping right next to where i need them. it’s gotten to the point i can almost predict when it’s gonna miss just from how the reels drag out. i get the excitement is part of the design but man, it’s a rollercoaster.

in blackjack i at least feel like i’ve got some say in the outcome, but with slots it’s just endless teases and weird patterns. feels like crypto sites hype up these bonus rounds way harder too. not saying it’s rigged, just feels like the algorithms have gotten a bit too good at getting my hopes up for nothing. anyone else noticing this? feels personal sometimes.
