jackpot contribution showed zero even tho game page says progressive eligible

Tried a slot that’s supposed to be progressive eligible, even checked the info panel, but my session showed zero going to the jackpot pot after each spin. Didn’t matter if I changed my coin size or played max bet, just nothing moved in the meter at all. That ever happen for anyone else? Was hoping to chase a tiny slice of that jackpot and now I’m kinda doubting if my spins even counted toward it. Not sure if it’s a site glitch or I missed some requirement. Curious if I’m just reading it wrong.
