draftkings slot showed jackpot animation then nothing got added to balance

hit the jackpot animation on a slot last night and honestly thought i’d just won something decent, but when the spin ended my balance didn’t change at all. no message or anything, just back to normal. played live dealer most times so not sure if slots glitch out like this often or if maybe something else happened on my end. it wasn’t a huge bet, but the hype from the jackpot music got my hopes up. tried refreshing but still nothing.

has anyone else had this happen? should i bother reaching out to support or does it usually sort itself out after a bit?

Yep, i’ve had that nonsense on slots with mystery reels and on power of thor type games too, the animation is often just theater, not money. If the balance and game history both stayed flat, you didn’t “win,” you got a little casino cabaret for free. Charming!

Not always just “casino cabaret” tho, some games toss jackpot-looking crap when all you actually hit was a respin setup or some dead little feature. Vikings go berzerk does that baity nonsense. People cry about sports betting promos being manipulative, slot ui is worse lol

Yeah, I’ve had the same flavor of nonsense, just on roulette instead of slots. The part I’d push back on is thinking the animation means anything. It doesn’t. The only thing that matters is the round ID and transaction log tied to that spin. Ask for that, not a “what happened?” shrug. Old stuff like Cash Fruits never played these little head games. New games do. House back end is all that counts.

Round ID, sure, but I always ask for the transaction log and exact credit balance before/after. Slots love fake fanfare over dead paylines...
