book says palpable error on a ufc prop that was open all morning

So I took a flyer on a UFC prop this morning, odds were way out of line compared to everywhere else, and sure enough my bet gets voided with the old "palpable error" excuse. They left the price up for hours though, right through weigh-ins, so I figured they'd have to honor it or at least partial grade. I'm not new to this - I've seen goofball roulette payouts get adjusted, but only when someone tries to game the auto wheel. This felt different since it was available all morning for anyone to grab.

If they can just call palpable error on anything after the fact, what's even the point of looking for edges? How do you guys handle this when it happens? You ever push back and actually get paid, or is it just chalk it up and move on every time?

Lmao hours on the board and they still nuked it? Did support give a timestamp or just bot-copy "palpable"?

Noooo, i used to think hours mattered too. Support usually just sends the canned line.

Timestamp or not, the rotten part is they hide behind house rules written like a hostage note. In poker at least the rake is posted and the bad beat is honest. These books let you think you caught a live underdog, then memory-hole it by lunch. Been there, got the canned email, kept the grudge.
