Pinnacle alt lines worth it?

Anyone here actually pulling long-term value from messing with the alt lines at Pinnacle? I started tweaking my usual bets a bit, mostly with the NBA lately, because the prices for alternate spreads looked decent at first. Like yeah, more risk, more reward, but after a few too many near-misses, I'm starting to wonder if the juice is really worth the squeeze. The payouts do look tasty if you're right, but it always feels like I'm giving too much edge back to the book in the long run.

My buddy swears by teasing his way through NFL alt lines, says it's the only way he gets a thrill these days outside crypto roulette. I haven't really tracked my numbers but it feels like the volatility is a bit much, even for someone who thinks coin flips should be streamed live.
