live line vanished

was trying to grab a live line on the baseball game last night and poof, the number just vanished before i could even click. this happens to me way too often, feels like my timing’s cursed or maybe my mouse just knows when i'm about to win one. tried refreshing and it never came back, just kept offering worse odds. i know some people say it’s all just quick updates but sometimes i wonder if i’m getting punked. anybody else lose out on live lines like this? am i missing some trick?

I get why it feels shady when it keeps happening, but I’ve seen lines disappear on Vega and other books too whenever there’s a pitch or play happening.

What bugs me isn’t the vanish, it’s the reappearance with extra vig baked in. That’s the distinction people skip. In live baseball, the worse number is the point.

I don’t think you’re getting punked, live odds really can move that quickly, but comparing Vega with another sportsbook before clicking has saved me from chasing worse numbers.

Nah, the part that gets me is the stupid confirm screen, half the time the line dies while the book asks if I’m sure like I’m buying a boat. You on mobile with one-tap off, or desktop? Live baseball punishes hesitating worse than Blackjack ever did for me, which is annoying as hell to admit.

Nah, you’re not getting punked lol, people keep acting like it’s some online casinos conspiracy and it’s not. Live baseball numbers get yanked on COUNT/state changes, not just the actual pitch, so if you’re waiting for a “better” one you already missed the window, man!!!

Yeah that’s happened to me too, I’ll usually check Vega and a couple other books before refreshing because live baseball lines can move crazy fast.

The line really said “you thought” 😭 I started checking Vega plus another book at the same time so I’m not sitting there waiting for one screen to cooperate.
