Live dealer side angles: why can't you choose your viewing perspective?
Production costs only tell part of the story, but I think a big roadblock is the tech stack behind these live dealer lobbies. Most aren't built for real-time switching, and even minor lag messes with trust faster than any camera angle ever could. Even in poker, people grumble when the stream stutters or deals get delayed, not just when they can't see every inch of felt. If they patched in extra angles but the action lagged, I'd expect outrage to spike, not settle. Casinos probably see "controlled friction" as safer than risking tech chaos.
