what gets me is it screws up your own memory of the session, which is half the battle once you start chasing. i’ve had nights where the recap made it feel like i was basically even, then i checked my bank log and i was down way more than i thought. that kind of thing matters if you’re trying to figure out whether you kept pressing after a hit or just bled out in little dumb bets. poker rooms figured this out forever ago with hand histories, roulette providers acting like a full spin record is some huge ask are telling on themselves, either lazy product or they want you fuzzy about what actually happened

$200 is exactly the kind of number that should've gone to a poker buy-in instead
