blackjack promo says double downs count but progress only moved on regular wins.

Was grinding a blackjack bonus where the terms said double downs would count the same as normal bets, but when I checked my progress bar, only my straight wins bumped the percentage. Lost a couple doubles too and those didn’t help move it at all, so now I’m wondering if it’s just a sloppy promo or I missed something obvious in the small print. Seems like this could be a deliberate move, or maybe they’re tracking double downs differently and not explaining it well. Curious if anyone’s seen this or figured out a workaround.

its usually not the tracker, its the back end only crediting the original hand and pretending the double is some side event. seen that crap in online casinos more than once and support acts like u asked them to explain gravity

Support always treats the double like it happened in another zip code. This is why i flat bet or just eat the rake on roulette instead

Progress bars are basically decoration half the time, that’s the part that pisses me off. In blackjack if a double down really “counts the same,” the wager log should show the extra stake getting tagged right then, not some vague bar inching around later like it’s thinking about it. I screenshot the terms and my bet history now because I got burned on this exact kind of fuzzy wording last month... Lost a stack chasing rollover that magically looked smaller the next morning. If it’s not visible per hand, I assume it’s bs.

If the hand history cant be audited cleanly, I treat the promo as fake and move on. Online casinos love a pretty meter, then suddenly nobody can produce a proper transaction trail?!!

If the promo really says double downs count the same as regular bets, I'd ask support to explain why those hands weren't reflected in the wagering tracker. I've seen confusing bonus terms before, but that's something they should be able to clarify.

supports gonna dodge it, but if doubles count the meter should move on stake not result, rng or not

If doubles are supposed to count toward the meter, the progress should ideally track the qualifying stake rather than the result.

if they cap bonus play at table betting limits too, some trackers only grab the first stake. did ur $25 double show as 50 in hand history or not

Meter should jump on stake, not outcome. $25+$25 is $50 lol
