insurance paid wrong

so i bought insurance on a 10 bet, dealer shows ace, i get blackjack, dealer checks and has 10. usually that’s just a push and i lose the insurance bet. but dealer paid me insurance like i had a regular loss, so i ended up making more than i should have - twice my bet, instead of break even. did i just catch a lazy payout, or is there some weird rule i don’t know about?

never seen that at live tables or any crypto site before, but maybe someone here knows a legit reason for it? or is it just bug city in these games sometimes? i keep seeing odd payout things lately, gotta start writing them down or get a new “lucky” pen.

nah, that's a bad payout. insurance is 2:1. with a push you should net zero.

Slots do bug out, seen bad settles. Was it live dealer or rng?

Sounds like a feed/parser hiccup, not some secret rule. On one crypto casino I had a live baccarat side bet graded off the wrong card burn once. Same kind of crooked little software sneeze, and its never in your favor twice.

That lucky pen bit, keep it. I had a live dealer round pay wrong once too, betting timer hiccup and they just let it sit
