Insurance ever worth it?
always been curious if anyone here actually grabs insurance when the dealer shows ace. honestly, feels like just throwing a chip away, but i’ve heard some folks swear it saves their skin in the long run. my track record isn’t great… every time i’ve taken it, dealer seems to get 20, not blackjack. starting to feel like it’s just another “tuition fee” for learning, you know?
with crypto casinos rolling out new promos, saw one offering some kind of special insurance promo, claiming higher returns if the table swings go wild. not sure if that makes the regular bet smarter or just wraps an old trick in new paper. curious about stories from anyone playing at the crypto tables, since things can get a little wild when you’re switching between currencies and promos mid-game. do any of you ever make it a rule to always, never, or sometimes take insurance? for me it always ends up being an impulse move.
