H17 or S17 better?

Most blackjack promos I see lately mention S17 or H17 but not both, and sometimes I wonder how much it should influence where I put my play. From what I gather, S17 dealer stands on soft 17 is less common, usually with fewer promo offers, but supposedly better odds for us. H17 pops up more on bonus lists, so it’s hard to ignore, especially when there’s a cashback or deposit match going on.

My habit is to compare them like a stat sheet. I know S17 is a slight edge, but the promo value sometimes feels bigger than the difference in rules. Then there’s things like double after split or re-splitting aces that cloud it all up. Is anyone tracking their results with both rulesets or weighing the value of better rules vs bigger bonuses? Where do you all usually land when making this trade-off?
