caesars promo says opt in required but button was greyed out until after game started

Saw a promo today where it says you have to opt in before betting on the game, but the opt in button was greyed out for me until after the first quarter already started. Kinda weird since the whole promo is supposed to be about making a live bet, but if you can’t opt in till the game is in play, it basically locks you out. Not even sure if my bet is gonna count toward the requirements since I had to wait for the button to turn green after tipoff.

Is this just a site bug or are they making it intentionally tricky so fewer people actually qualify? Anyone else ever run into the greyed-out button thing and if so, did they still honor the promo for you? Not a huge deal for me since I usually stick to roulette, but would rather know for next time if it's just a normal glitch or something to complain about.
