session reality check stuck

Been playing blackjack on and off this week, mainly low stakes but it’s definitely added up faster than I realized. Hit that session reality check pop-up and it almost shocked me out of my chair. Makes you do some quick mental math that’s way less fun than figuring out whether to double down on a soft 17.

I get why they do it, but those reminders just make me want to chase a hot streak even more, which is probably the opposite of what’s supposed to happen. Does anyone else actually take those things seriously, or just ignore and plow ahead? Thinking maybe I should set my own timer, because the casino reminder makes me just want to click right past it like a cookie notice.

Trying to keep it light but man, these checks are like the fridge light that lets you know you’re back in there for the wrong reason.
