caesars casino locked my account after i updated phone number.

so i tried to update my number on my caesars account - my old flip phone finally died rip to a legend - and now they’ve locked me out. i’m not even sure if it was immediate or just coincidence. no prior issues, just can’t log in now. got some blackjack bonus funds stuck in there and i was only halfway through the wager requirement. not sure if i’m flagged or it’s just some weird verification thing.

anyone had this happen after a number change? is this just standard security or should i be sweating it?
