final table payout lower than lobby showed after deal discussion failed.

Hit a weird snag on my last online tourney. We made it to the final table and there was some talk about making a deal but nobody agreed in the end. Then when players started busting, the payouts everyone got were actually less than what the lobby was showing before all the deal drama. It wasn’t off by a huge amount, but enough for a few of us to notice and get pissed.

Anyone run into this before? Is it possible the prize pool gets restructured after a failed deal attempt or was this just some kind of glitch? Really interested if this is just an online thing or if you’ve seen it live too, because I like to know exactly where my money is going. Any way to actually verify payouts on these sites when this happens?

"deal drama" is enough for me, once a table starts that talk I assume the numbers in the lobby mean nothing much

"not off by a huge amount" is still off. lobby number should be the number.
