ggpoker says final table payout needs manual check after server pause

final table got paused out of nowhere, says "manual payout check" because of a server issue. haven't seen this message before so i'm a little uneasy. been playing live dealer and regular mtts for a while but this is a first for me. i get that with big money on the line they want to be careful, just feels sketchy when you can’t get answers right away.

anyone else had a manual check delay after a crash or server lag? did you end up getting paid out fair, like based on chip stacks or chop deals? i’ve seen folks get real upset when something looks off, even though support usually sorts it. this is the kind of stuff that makes me lean even harder on live tables or at least smaller fields. hoping it’s just a one-off and they don’t drag it out. kind of wild how much trust we put in these sites, especially with crypto in play.

always is too much but yeah that phrasing is bad bc once they type manual check ur no longer talking to support ur talking to some back office queue and those guys move like mud. had a sunday mtt freeze on me last year, 19 hours before the email, 14 of us left, they pushed icm and not chip stacks and of course nobody could get a straight answer till it was already done. thats why i still trust live blackjack more than these giant online final table spots, at least when something goes weird u can actually see the weird part happen 😕

"manual check" is bad mostly because they stop telling you what RULE they used, that's the part that annoys me. Not the wait, the fog. If they had a server pause there should be a timestamped balance snapshot and hand-state log, same way live Blackjack has bet confirmation before the shoe moves on. If they won't show that, i'm not impressed. Did they at least send OP the tournament state from the exact second it paused or just some canned email crap

I screwed this up once by assuming poker sites would keep a clean pause record for me. Now if a server burps near anything important, I screenshot the lobby and chip counts myself, because the canned email after the fact is usually useless and maybe thats the lesson.

"ALWAYS" is doing a lot there lol, online casinos slap that on any server hiccup, I've still seen payouts come through after lag 🙂

ugh yeah, had one after lag and they paid fair by stacks lol. still salty as hell.

Stacks is the dumb default lol, bonus terms get checked faster

Stacks, yesss, but did they use the exact pause hand-state or just lobby counts after the burp?

Forget the lobby count, if the blind level rolled or the timer kept chewing during the pause, the whole Poker payout calc is already dirty!!! I had one where that mattered more than stacks and support acted blind to it...

That "burp" part, yeah, if the hand-state wasn't frozen on server side I'd trust nothing they quote 😕
