caesars roulette cancelled pending payout after provider checked spin result.

so here’s one for the group - was running live roulette for a while, nothing out of the ordinary, but then i hit a decently sized bet and suddenly the payout sits at pending. next thing i know the game screen says “provider checked spin result” and cancels the win. funds back, but not the payout. i’ve been around enough blackjack and table games to know shady things can happen with third-party providers, but i haven’t had a roulette outcome flat-out get wiped like this before.

i get there’s probably t&c that gives them room, but it feels off when it only happens after a win, and especially when it takes a few minutes for a decision. if a spin was invalid or interrupted, why let the bet finish at all? thinking about sticking to blackjack and the tables i trust, but would be good to hear if anyone else has had this roulette weirdness and how you handled it.
