stake slot dropped connection during collect screen and win stayed pending.

was playing a random slot and just as it was showing the collect screen after a big spin the connection dropped out. when i logged back in, the balance didn’t update and the win was still “pending.” never had this before, usually when i lose connection mid-round the slot will pick up right where it left off, but it looks like the site just locked the whole thing up at the worst time.

tried refreshing and logging in and out, nothing. sent a message to support but no answer yet. i take screenshots of every big hit out of habit and have all the screen grabs so i don’t think i’m totally out of luck, but i’m not sure how long this stuff normally takes to resolve.

has anybody else had a pending win just hang there like that? did support fix it quick or did you have to wait?

Yeah, had it hang for like 36 hours once lol. Weirdly support moved way faster the second i mentioned the win was tied to a promo rollover, which is such a joke lmao, but yeah screenshots saved my ass there.

Yeah that’s rough 😭 keeping the screenshots was smart though, and Stake says interrupted game features should be recoverable, so I’d definitely keep pushing support if the win stays pending.

Yep, had it happen once on a video slot and the annoying little nuance is the “collect” screen isn’t really the spin deciding anything, it’s the curtain call. The result was already there when the reels stopped on the paylines. So if it’s stuck pending, that usually means the game session and the wallet stopped speaking, not that the win vanished into the wallpaper. Mine took till the next morning. Support was about as lively as wet cardboard.

Yeah, had it happen, and the part people miss is this usually smells more like provider-side slot bookkeeping than the casino doing something dramatic. Live Dealer rounds tend to settle cleaner because there’s an actual round ID and a hard stop. A lot of slots, especially the busy ones with wilds everywhere and quick spin turned on, feel like they’re stitched together with dental floss. My blunt take: if it froze on a big hit, that’s not rare, that’s just slot tech being cheap in a nicer shirt. In my case it got sorted, but not fast enough to impress me. I’d be more annoyed than worried.
