betonline says max win exceeded because parlay odds changed after acceptance

I hit a 4-leg parlay on a niche sport overnight, but when I logged in this morning, the payout wasn’t there. Customer support says they’re voiding it because the odds “changed after acceptance” and it went over their max win for that event. Thing is, the bet was already confirmed and all the legs graded as winners. They’re just quoting the T&C about max payouts now, but I don’t see how that applies after the fact - shouldn’t those limits be enforced before I even place the bet, not after?

I’ve seen books void stuff for obvious errors or line movements, but this doesn’t seem like an error. The odds were all normal at the time. It feels kind of scummy to adjust limits only after a longshot parlay hits, like they just cherry-pick which wins to pay out. Not the first time I’ve run into something like this on these sites, especially when using crypto. Curious to hear if anyone’s had a similar mess and how you navigated it.

"niche sport overnight" is where I used to get clipped too. Blackjack at least cheats faster.

Yeah and online casinos pull the same crap, did support show the original ticket timestamp and accepted odds or just vibes?

Blackjack pulls it quicker. You got the ticket timestamp?

"Max win exceeded" after accept is a different scam than bonus crap, they should've clipped the stake upfront. Blackjack at least robs you live

Overnight niche stuff is where they get cute lol, I learned that the dumb way after chasing Live Dealer losses and thinking a confirmed ticket meant locked. Maybe I'm wrong, but after acceptance?! Nah man that's grimey!!!

If the bet was accepted at those odds, I'd ask them to explain exactly which rule they're relying on. A max win limit is one thing, but changing the reason after settlement deserves a clear explanation. I've seen similar discussions involving Gamdom and BetOnline.

Ngl I’ve punted poker hands with the same “house fixes it upfront” logic. If they confirmed it then clawed it back, that’s scummy imo
