i'd care more about the promo than the jackpot, those mgm bonus drops usually want silly playthrough for not much. i had a 25 free spins offer turn into $3.80, big deal

yeah, they do that on purpose, not the rng part, the presentation part. near-miss stuff has been baked into slot design forever because it keeps people spinning, especially when you're on bonus credits or some dumb 50 free spins promo and thinking you're playing with house money. i had razor shark throw 2 bonus symbols in the first 3 reels 11 spins out of 20 on a promo, hit the feature once for 18x. that's not a conspiracy, it's just dressed up to feel closer than it is, and people eat it up

zigzags are the part i hate, i chased a bonus on one and still missed wins

bonuses are where they hide the dead heat junk

was it bonus cash?

yeah unless the bonus is stupid good

yeah, had it happen. i took a dumb reload bonus once and that seemed to kick it into extra checks, old card statement mattered more than the new card, stupid as hell

same, bonus bets made me peek, every time
