online poker room locked withdrawals because my deposit card expired mid series

Was deep in an online poker series and my debit card decided to finally give up - expiration hit right in the middle of the run. I made my last rebuy with it, now when I try to withdraw after bubbling out, the room tells me the card I deposited with is no longer valid for payouts. They locked the withdrawal and are asking for a bunch of docs. I always keep my receipts, statements and all that, but this feels way more complicated than it should be.

Anyone ever have a poker room put up this much of a block just because a card expired? I already sent them a pic of the new one and they’re still grilling me. Annoying since it’s not like I was trying to cash out to some other account. Feels like I need a manual just to get my own bankroll back.

Yeah, had it in poker once. Expired card turned into proof of address, selfie, whole circus, took 9 days, nothing wrong on my end either, they just stop the line !!!

losed-loop withdrawal policies often require extra verification when the deposit card has expired or been replaced.

yeah, had it happen. i took a dumb reload bonus once and that seemed to kick it into extra checks, old card statement mattered more than the new card, stupid as hell

yeah ive had that crap and tbh the expired card part is probably just the excuse lol if u used any series ticket cashback or deposit promo rn theyll class it as payment routing not a simple cashout which is way dumber than it sounds

Nah, the part that always screams at me is the promo ledger split. Once bonus crumbs touch tournament funds, some rooms shove it into manual review and it sits 72+ hours for no reason. Boring, predictable, sooo cheap.
