online poker room locked withdrawals because my deposit card expired mid series

Was deep in an online poker series and my debit card decided to finally give up - expiration hit right in the middle of the run. I made my last rebuy with it, now when I try to withdraw after bubbling out, the room tells me the card I deposited with is no longer valid for payouts. They locked the withdrawal and are asking for a bunch of docs. I always keep my receipts, statements and all that, but this feels way more complicated than it should be.

Anyone ever have a poker room put up this much of a block just because a card expired? I already sent them a pic of the new one and they’re still grilling me. Annoying since it’s not like I was trying to cash out to some other account. Feels like I need a manual just to get my own bankroll back.
