casino says my account risk score changed after i used public wifi to login
Logged in from a coffee shop to check some spins, next thing I know my withdrawal gets put on hold because their “risk team” flagged my account. Supposedly my risk score jumped up after that login. I asked for more info and they said it’s “public wifi concerns” plus “anomalous access patterns.” I get security is a thing, but come on, it’s 2024 and not everyone sits at home all the time.
They didn’t accuse me of breaking rules, just said they’re “reviewing activity.” Super vague. I always use the same device, no VPN or sketchy stuff, literally just logged in because my phone data sucks sometimes. Now it feels like any little thing sets them off. Is public wifi that big a deal for casinos or are they just overreacting to justify a delay? Anyone else get flagged for something this random, and how did it play out?
