crypto casino says my bonus was cancelled because i tipped rain before wagering cleared

I just had this weird thing happen where I was playing on a crypto casino, working through a deposit bonus, and my balance seemed fine. Out of habit I threw a few satoshis in the rain since the chat was popping off. Few spins later, I get an email saying my bonus is void because I “transferred funds” before meeting wager requirements. I checked the T&C and there’s this vague line about not moving funds during the bonus period, but I didn’t think tipping in chat counted. I usually tip low-rollers when I’m up a bit, so this caught me off guard.

Does anyone else run into this, or is it just another way they find to deny bonuses? I know bonuses come with a lot of strings, but I hadn’t seen chat tipping punished like this before. Not sure if it’s worth chasing up with support or if they just dig in their heels and quote rules. Feels like a minor technicality.

the amount barely matters, that’s the part people keep getting hung up on. these places run bonus rules like house rules in a bad poker room, tiny thing, suddenly whole hand is dead because they felt like reading the line the worst possible way. i’d still hit support once just to make them say it plainly, but when they start doing this it’s usually arbitrary rule changes dressed up like policy and it never gets better

Sure, TECHNICALLY they can call a tip a transfer. And that’s exactly why bonus play is so dull to me now. The minute a site makes normal chat stuff part of compliance theater, I’m out. I learned this the boring way: during rollover I don’t touch rain, tips, vaults, none of it, because the bonus balance turns your account into a museum display. Poker regs get this faster than slot folks do, separate your play from the promo nonsense or they’ll nickel-and-dime the whole thing.
