live casino said round was voided for technical error but only refunded my stake

so last night i’m doing my usual blackjack on the live casino, not even chasing or anything, just the same small bets. out of nowhere the dealer freezes, chat is dead, and after a minute it kicks me out. i check my balance and i see they refunded the stake only, no winnings, just like nothing happened. when i ask support they tell me the round got voided for “technical error” and they only give back the bet, not what i would’ve won. isn’t that kinda messed up if i was actually ahead in that round? i get it if something glitched, but i feel like i lose out if my hand was looking good and they just erase the whole thing.

i know this stuff can happen, but have any of you actually fought it and got more than your stake back? or do they always just say “tough luck, here’s your bet”?
