bonus balance used first

Just noticed a weird thing with bonus balances getting used before cash. Thought it was always the other way around, cash first then bonus. Started a session with some free spins and my bonus balance dropped way before I even touched my real money. Not sure if it's a glitch or just how it goes now. Read some terms but half of it felt like ancient code, honestly.

Anyone else seeing this on different sites? If they make you burn the bonus first, doesn’t that kind of ruin the strategy if you're trying to clear wagering? Just seems backwards to me but maybe there’s something I'm missing. How do you handle playthrough when the bonus gets drained before your actual cash?

nah, the bit that does my head in is the wallet display more than the bonus itself. i messed this up once, thought i was into cash already, then found out the site was still chewing bonus balance in the background, so now if they don't show separate balances plain as day i just bin the promo.

Yeah, that’s not a glitch, that’s the whole rotten setup imo. They burn bonus first because it kills your flexibility and keeps your cash tied up behind the wagering wall. Same cheap logic as bad poker promos where they decide what stack you’re “really” playing with. Mrs. Brown’s seen that trick before. If bonus gets used first, the strategy is already half cooked tbh. I just assume the terms are written to make the obvious move impossible.

Yeah, a bunch of online casinos do that, and when the terms read like ancient code that’s usually the tell lol. I quit messing with promos once the wallet starts doing cute stuff with balances, sooo to me it’s not a glitch, it’s them making the whole thing just annoying on purpose lmao
