card declined but balance charged

so i tried to deposit last night, card got declined right away but the charge still shows up on my bank account. site balance didn’t update and there’s no pending deposit anywhere in my account history, just the regular balance, which is super confusing. i know sometimes banks hold funds even if the casino declines it, but it’s been about 18 hours already. normally if this happens, funds either drop back or the deposit finally hits, but now i’m in limbo.

not sure if i should wait it out or contact support, but i really don’t want to deal with the usual copy-paste answers. anyone else have something similar happen lately? trailguy is getting twitchy because the money’s just floating in the void and he can’t decide if this is just standard banking delay stuff or a sign to never trust these digital wallet things again.

Yep, had that on slots lol. Card ate it, bank held 2 days, casino saw nothing.

Yeah maybe it clears on its own, but if the casino has zero trace of the attempt in account history, that’s the part I’d side-eye hard lol. I’ve had sketchy books do that right before payment methods got randomly disabled, and that’s usually my cue to stop feeding it.

18 hours would annoy me enough to stop chasing it, yeah. I made the dumb move once of trying again on a crypto casino and just doubled the mess, learned real fast one floating charge is plenty...

Trying again is the Roulette move lmao, one floating charge is ENOUGH. Did that once and my bank sulked for 3 days

Slots eat enough already, card limbo would set me off.

Blackjack deposits ghosting with no ledger hit? That's processor junk, not the bank.

Lol was this for poker or casino, and did your bank mark it posted or just pending. That part MATTERS

maybe maybe it is just a bank hold, but 18 hours with no pending trail on the casino side is where i stop calling it normal. had this once with an online casino roulette deposit and it was a straight payment failure that took 3 days to reverse, real annoying!!!

yeah happens. live dealer side does this too sometimes its usually a bank auth hold not the casino actually taking it

Card rails are the problem half the time, not some mystery void. This is why I quit feeding crypto casinos with a debit card, got burned on a Saturday and my bank acted like I asked em to solve algebra for three days
