rivered by 2 outer again

felt like tonight was another one of those “life’s not fair” sessions. i’m at a live table, i’m ahead with top set, we’re deep, he’s drawing stone dead except for the two exact cards. we get it in and he literally goes runner-runner for his magic two outer. no slowroll or hollywood, just snap called, like he was already checked out. watched the chips get shipped and everyone’s just pretending that’s normal. no one says a word. i barely even tilted because it’s just so standard by now.

been happening more than it should the last few weeks. honestly makes me question what’s worse, losing like that or some backdoor flush that makes more sense. i try not to dwell on the stats because i know that’s just variance but it’s weird how streaky these “miracles” get. anyone else notice live feels wilder with these suckouts, or is it just me being results-oriented? do you handle these spots differently or just chalk it up and move on?

Yeah live doesnt feel wilder, it feels slower, which is worse lol. You eat one gross beat and then sit there marinating in it for 20 minutes staring at the guy stacking your chips. Online you get buried by volume, sports betting you at least got other games moving, live poker makes every 2 outer feel like god singled you out personally lmao. I dont do anything fancy now, i just write the hand down after, look at it later, and if i got it in good i shut up and move on. Still annoying as hell tho, been that kind of run lately and im pretty over it

"no one says a word" at a live table? Was it one of those dead quiet rooms with the Live Dealer feed blaring in back?
