pinnacle rejected my bet because price moved but kept it pending for 10 minutes first

had a pretty annoying one just now, sent in a live bet, line moved, but instead of outright rejecting it they held it "pending" for ten minutes before declining. meanwhile the price i wanted obviously gone, and market moved. not the first time, but usually it’s way quicker, seconds or maybe a minute max. was mid-match too, not pre-game.

i get the concept of rejection after line moves, but the delay had me thinking it went through. anyone else getting these slow plays more lately or just me?

Ten minutes on a live bet?! Thats dead on arrival. Same nonsense happens in Poker props when the market's already halfway out the door.

Yeah, thats the part that would piss me off: ten minutes pending is basically a fake bet. In-play is one thing, but if roulette can lock a spin faster than that, a straight reject should be INSTANT. Dont leave people hanging like it might settle.

its usually a feed sync problem or a trader override, not some deep mystery. ive seen it most on live tennis when the point just ended and they still let the button sit there for 6 to 12 minutes, then kick it back like nothing happened. thats not lag its sloppy risk control

Yeah and when they do that on live tennis I stop trusting the whole live stack tbh, same vibe as roulette spins that somehow need forever to settle lol, not just you, feels way more common lately

The part people miss is a suspended market and a pending ticket are not the same thing, and books act like they are. If my stake is tied up for 10 minutes I can't even re-bet the spot, and in Poker terms that is just dead chips, real real sloppy.
